| footnotes = }} Cavinti is a third class municipality in the province of Laguna in the Philippines. It is situated in the Sierra Madre mountain range, and part of the 4th congressional district of Laguna. It is an agricultural town with a population of 20,809 people in the 2010 census.〔 The current administration was headed by Honorable Mayor Milbert Oliveros. Although relatively far from the immediate influence of Metropolitan Areas and Urbanized Towns, Cavinti continues to progress. The town of Cavinti is expected to be a 1st Class Municipality before 2016. ==Geography== Cavinti is situated at the eastern side of the province of Laguna. The town is bounded by the municipality of Lumban on the north, by the municipalities of Sampaloc, Quezon and Mauban, Quezon in the east, Pagsanjan in the west, and by the Luisiana in the south.
